Ercan is a software engineer who is passionate about code and likes to spend his time writing things for the web. He believes that writing simple and clean code is the key for creating great software.
He is passionate about open source, sharing and collaboration. Between 2007 and 2010 Ercan was involved in the Joomla project. He was the release manager of Joomla 1.6 and founding member of the Joomla Bug Squad.
In 2008 Ercan participated in the Google Summer of Code program. He developed one of the first content construction kits for Joomla making it possible to create new content types with different field sets through a user interface.
Ercan joined Timble in 2011 as the first fully dedicated developer of our Joomlatools brand. He's working day in, day out in creating the best Joomla extensions.
Timble provides enterprise level development services centred around web applications, focussing on high performance, multi-site, multi-lingual installations. Timble also specialises in technology consultancy, advising startups and large cooperations.
Created the deployment and management interface of a multi site Joomla setup with 1000+ web sites.
Built a REST API in front of Turkish government tax management systems used for automation in accounting systems.
Created a web application to improve accountant-client relations with features like automated document delivery from government tax agency to clients, online payments and sophisticated tax and insurance notification systems.
Custom PHP and Joomla development for many high profile Turkish web sites and applications.
Scaling high traffic Joomla sites.
